It’s that time of year again! As we come to the end of 2017, it is important that we recognise the challenges we have faced and celebrate what we have accomplished, both as people and as a community. With that in mind we would like to invite you to vote for your favourite NDIS provider of 2017!
In 2016, our NDIS Provider of the year was won by Abacus Learning Centre. Abacus provides Applied Behavioural Analysis programs which are individually designed to suit the needs of the child and their family. Based in Hastings, Victoria, Abacus is a Not-for-Profit organisation offering 1:1 individualised programs.
Lauren and the team at Abacus Learning Centre were delighted to receive this award and wanted to share the following message:
“The Board of Directors and staff of Abacus Learning Centre are very proud to be chosen as CareNavigator NDIS provider of the year for 2016. We would like to thank our wonderful clients who have provided such positive feedback on the CareNavigator website. We are extremely proud of the quality of services that we offer and the care and commitment of our staff to the best outcomes for our clients. CareNavigator is an excellent initiative which will be of great benefit to those families looking to access services under the NDIS.”
Abacus Learning Centre was recognised as “wonderful” “beautiful caring” and “amazing” by CareNavigators in 2016. Thanks to Linda Dillon, Phoenix’s family, Fernando family, Macrina Martin, Amber, Melisa Trajkovski, Stacey and Petra, Abacus won a year of CareNavigator Gold worth over $1000!
In 2017, we are raising the stakes and recognising a provider of the year for every State! That means more CareNavigator Gold to give away to the deserving providers in your community as chosen by you, our CareNavigators!
The winner will be the provider profile in each state with the most 5-star ratings from 2017. So if there’s a fantastic provider in your community who you think could do with a little bit of recognition, this is your chance to be their Santa and put a little CareNavigator Gold in their stocking this year ?

Reviewer of the month, Autonomous Autist said it best:
“There’s so much I’m looking for that I think only another person with a disability or a carer can really understand, so to read reviews that are written by us and for us is very valuable.
I find one sentence reviews that are all-positive or all-negative often aren’t that helpful to me. Reading other reviews on Care Navigator has shown me that there is a community who are creating a valuable resource to be shared.
A lot of this information – the good providers, the bad providers, and all the disability-specific stuff you need to know about providers and services, has often been shared by word of mouth by people who are connected to local networks. It is information that should be available to anyone who wants it, and that I think a lot of us are willing to share and glad to have a platform for.
So I was really happy to write a review for what’s been the most valuable service-provider for me, and I will definitely use Care Navigator again and hopefully write a few more reviews”
You are in charge. Your reviews determine the winner, lets make sure these prizes go to worth winners!
