NDIS LAC Partner Ovens Murray

The NDIA’s participant numbers put the successful LAC Partner for Ovens Murray in for a wild ride. Peaking at over +234% above average in it’s second quarter (Q7) Ovens Murray posts the highest variation in Victoria. After hitting the highest of highs, Ovens Murray also moves to some of the lowest of lows.

These huge swings over a period of less than 2 years will make it challenging for the successful LAC Partner in Ovens Murray to effectively recruit and manage appropriate staffing levels. The participant numbers put forward by the NDIA for Ovens Murray would require a sophisticated management plan to repeatedly scale up and down quarterly.

The numbers also suggest that whoever the NDIA selects to deliver Local Area Coordination, they will be reliant on a transient workforce. This means further UBER-fication of the care sector, where the erratic changes would prevent the LAC Partner from offering stable ongoing work.
